Song Diary
One thing I do to get people to visit my site is to update my Song Diary. I write a song a week and post it there in a very raw, nuts and bolts form. Then I send out Twitters and MySpace bulletins about it. I just posted a new one: http://www.chrisfullermusic.com/songdiary.cfm

by text messaging do you mean SMS messaging via mobile phones (i think you call them cellphones in the usa)
